Most people want instant gratification, especially when it comes to taking something for health reasons. It’s no different for CBD oil. CBD oil doesn’t work that way and can cause many to give up too quickly and say that CBD oil isn’t working for them.
Start out with more realistic expectations. Typically, people do not experience physical results from CBD for a few weeks. So, perseverance and patience are important. Also, an understanding of the diverse variables at play that determine long- and short-term effectiveness specifically for you.

With so many CBD brands out there, a first good step is to choose a higher quality CBD brand. Only look for brands that have good customer reviews and a good track record.
You may have to experiment with some different brands and products to find the right one for you. Everyone is different, so what works for one may not work for others. Our endocannabinoid systems are unique and respond differently to specific products.
It’s important to know if the CBD product you are using is broad spectrum, full spectrum or an isolate. If one is not working, try a different kind.
The #1 mistake new CBD users make is taking too much CBD or too little. Unfortunately, right now there is no universal recommended dosage, like you would get from taking Tylenol or aspirin. The correct dose is extremely individualized. Body weight, body chemistry, severity of the condition and type are just a few variables.
The goal here is to find the best dose of CBD oil that’s right for you. In order to get the results you were hoping for, it is critically important to find optimal dosage.

Absorption rate or bioavailability is the percentage of CBD that truly gets into the bloodstream. There are different absorption rates with the different methods of consuming CBD oil. CBD oil, for example has a 20-30% absorption rate and less than that for capsules or gummies.
So, absorption rate does matter, as you may be getting less than you think. Try different methods of taking CBD oil in order to get the best result possible.
