How Much CBD Oil Should I Take?

I get this question a lot. A lot of people are asking me like, well, this is what I want and this is what I’m trying to achieve, and how much do I start with? And so my recommendation to anybody starting with CBD is, first of all, I’d say, by the thousand milligram bottle. We do have a 500 milligram bottle you can start with, it’s less, but you’re going to get more bang for your buck out of the thousand milligram bottle.

How much should I start with?

So there’s so many factors that go into how your body is going to respond to CBD, how much like you drink, how many drugs you take, and whatever it is that your body is consuming. It’s kind of like alcohol. Some people are cheap dates, and some people aren’t.

And so CBD isn’t far from that because your body is processing something and it’s using the goodness out of it. So it kind of depends on what you’re doing. But I want to give like a rough guideline of where to start and then you can move from there according to what you need.

If you’ve never taken CBD before, then you definitely want to use, I would say, a half a dropper full. And then start with that. This dropper when it’s full is 33 milligrams. And so if you’re going to use half of it, it’s about just over 15 milligrams of CBD.

Start with that, take it right after you eat a meal, usually around bedtime, because CBD can make you drowsy and tired. It’s kind of one of the side effects of what CBD does is, and it’s also the reason that you might notice a little bit less anxiety after you take it.

So I suggest taking after bed and after you eat because you’re going to stick, this what you’re going to do is you’re going to take a bottle and you’re going to fill up the vial, I’m going to take it and you’re going to drop however much you want. Which in the beginning, you want half a dropper full, you take that and drop it under your tongue.

Normally, you want to hold it there for about 30 seconds to 60 seconds. And what that does is it allows the capillaries in your body in your in the back to absorb the CBD faster than if you let it go to your stomach, it’s not going to process it as much and your stomach acids are going to kill some of it. That is my suggestion from there if you don’t feel the effects of it and you don’t feel so. Some of the side effects that people don’t know about are that when you take it, it might make you have to go to the bathroom. The other thing is you might get a stomach ache or you might feel a slight stomach ache. That might mean you are taking too much.

If you don’t have any of those things, you can take more and if you’re not drowsy, then you could take a little bit more and see how it’s affecting you. So everybody is different, people take anywhere from the most people that are getting the benefit out of this and what they’re telling me and the feedback that I get is a half a dropper, all the way up to two full droppers. And that is what my recommendation is, is start at that half dropper or if you’re a little bit bigger, you can start with a full dropper. And if you’re kind of used to taking medicines and stuff, then your body is going to be able to process it better and you’re not going to be as sensitive to it.
